Developments in Sports Medicine have provided breakthroughs in minimally invasive surgery and rapid recovery.
Behind every great professional athletic team is a Medical Director and team of orthopaedic surgeons dedicated to keeping players healthy and on the field.
For over 10 years, our doctors have been the primary physicians for the Miami Dolphins and the Florida Marlins and dedicated to insuring the highest quality healthcare in the National Football League and Major League Baseball.
We are also the Team Physicians for the Baltimore Orioles during their annual spring training season in Florida, as well as team physicians for Nova Southeastern Unviersity, Westminster High School, Pine Crest High School, and North Broward Prepatory.
Founded over 20 years ago by Dr. Daniel Kanell, our orthopedic team
also provides care for young athletes through the Broward Health Athletic Training Program. Through education, supervision and
treatment the program cares for a majority of the over 14,500 high
school athletes that play sports from 20 Broward County schools.
We are regularly called upon to provide medical consultation, second opinions and surgical services to world class and Olympic sports competitors.
