Erol Andrew Yoldas, M.D. is an orthopedic surgeon on staff at Broward Health Medical Center and Broward Health Imperial Point. He serves as team physician for the Florida Marlins baseball team. He is also the team physician for Nova Southeastern University, and provides athletic team coverage for several Broward County high school teams. Dr. Yoldas also serves as spring training physician for the Baltimore Orioles when training in Fort Lauderdale.
Dr. Yoldas received his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Duke University School of Engineering and his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine.
He completed a general surgery internship and orthopedic residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He also was an Orthopedic Sports Fellow at the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic in Vail Colorado. Dr. Yoldas is board certified in sports medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine and NFL Team Physician Society.
Dr. Yoldas has been selected for several of the America Top Doctor Lists and has been published in medical periodicals and has presented numerous times before his peers. He has also been featured several times on various prime time stations for his expertise on the treatment of sports injuries. Recently, Dr. Yoldas was awarded the Most Valuable Physician Award at Broward Health.
He resides in Fort Lauderdale with his wife and two daughters and enjoys golf, basketball and skiing.
